As a Tax Strategist, you will be responsible for overseeing the engagement and managing the relationship with your portfolio of clients. In this capacity, you will be implementing strategies to provide excellent client service while producing and providing the agreed upon deliverables including tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations.

Prepare & Review tax returns

Develop and maintain client relationships

Oversee and manage the relationship

Provide outstanding client service

Responsibilities

Perform tax research and analysis

Prepare individual, partnership, trust, and corporate tax returns

Develop and maintain client relationships

Attend client meetings and deliver presentations

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

‍

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master of Taxation degree preferred.

CPA License, State Bar or Enrolled Agent

2+ years tax experience in a public accounting firm

Leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator.

Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.

Proficient use of technology including MS Excel, QBO, Drake Tax, ProConnect

Presents themselves and the firm in a professional manner.

Other Requirements:

This is a 97% remote position, one day in the office per month.

This position has a fixed compensation split percentage model exempt from overtime pay.

Compensation:

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to performance, external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $108,000-$162,000.

All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and authorized to work in the U.S.
